I have an IPOD video at the moment and I take it everywhere with me. I love love love it.. I use it in the car, when I'm out walking & when I have friends over. I find it great for keeping the kids occupied in the car too since they can watch their favorite cartoons. Another bonus is that its so much easier to take with me in the car than a portable dvd player thats for sure. So I was browsing Amazon and looking at the Ipod Touch, I reckon that since I get such use out of my current Ipod it would be a good investment...
