IPod Touch to buy ot not to buy ? That is the question

I have an IPOD video at the moment and I take it everywhere with me.  I love love love  it..  I use it in the car, when I'm out walking & when I have friends over.  I find it great for keeping the kids occupied in the car too since they can watch their favorite cartoons. Another bonus is that its so much easier to take with me in the car than a portable dvd player thats for sure. So I was browsing Amazon and looking at the Ipod Touch, I reckon that since I get such use out of my current  Ipod it would be a good investment...  I found this review on Cnet and thought it might help others out there to decide on buying one

THE BOTTOM LINE: Though the updates are subtle, the third-generation iPod Touch leaves its competitors in the dust.

The Weepiest Yet Most Romantic Films Ever

So I was watching the Notebook for the first time the other night. Having seen it I can not believe it had not come to my attention before this.  It was such a romantic, heartwarming an beautifully acted film.  I loved the way the story evolved and switching from past to present.  It is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks who I now know also wrote A Walk to Remember and Message in a Bottle.  Both of which are uber romantic novels and have also been made into films. Two of the lastest films based on his books are Dear John and The Last Song which stars Miley Cyrus.

The Best Movies & Boxset Discounts

So I was wondering what to get some friends as presents ( nothing like leaving your shopping till the last minute to focus the mind and panic). So I faced the usual dilema should I get this, should I get that, do they already have it , will they like it and then a moment of clarity ( insert lightbulb here) ... Everyone loves a good movie and 2009 had some really good movies or boxset !! 


So I set about searching for the best movies  & tv boxsets 2009 to offer.  During my search though I  discovered that a good discount knows no bounds and my search quickly went from being just 2009 to being any year. The only criteria was that I would get them at a serious discount and boy did I.  As usual Amazon came up trumps with some amazing last minute deals and as much as 70% off.   So I put together a few of the movies & boxsets that I thought were good and that had some really good offers.  There are  few romances, horrors, comedies and kids movies in there.  There were a hell of a lot more there so just click on any of the ones shown below to go and search for yourself.

First post here we go

So this is my first post yipee,,, Basically I have started this blog because I am tired of being ripped off in shops.  I mean helloooo there is a recession on so get with the programme and sort out your prices shopowners.I have decided to buy as much as I can online.  Now don't get me wrong shops are great ..... as a place to do your research before buying online..  You see obviously  if you are buying online you can't feel, smell or do any of that tactile stuff with the products so that is where the shops come in. :-)

Here is what we should all be doing:

1. You can go into a shop and spend hours in there looking at clothes, shoes, electrical items etc. trying them all
2. Make sure your happy with your choice
3. Get the make, designer, model, serial number etc of the items you want.
4. PLEASE resist the urge to impulse buy -- Hard I know , I have been there my friends
5. Now go home and check online for a better deal on your chosen item

There is so many choices online,  you can get the genuine article or you can get a replica, either way you will get it far cheaper online. So I am going to be doing some online window shopping and hunting down some really great bargains and online deals for you all..
